If you sign in, we store your email address, sign-in records, latest quiz results, and related account preferences.

Information you provide
If you create or use a quiz account, we collect the email address you provide so we can send sign-in links, keep your quiz progress available across visits, and support account-related requests.
If you choose to receive quiz reminders or updates, we also process the preferences needed to send and manage those messages.
Quiz and usage data
We process quiz activity such as the quizzes you take, scores, completion details, and interaction data needed to save results, show progress, and understand how the learning experience is used.
Browser storage and cookies
Git Skills uses browser storage for quiz state, result views, and temporary local data, and uses an essential persistent sign-in cookie for signed-in quiz accounts.
How we use personal data
We use personal data to operate the website and quiz features, send one-time sign-in emails, save and show quiz progress, send reminders or updates you request, and respond to support or privacy inquiries.
We also use limited technical and usage information to keep the service secure, detect abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve site performance and content quality.
Sharing and service providers
We use Cloudflare for storage and infrastructure supporting the quiz account service, and AWS Simple Email Service (SES) to send sign-in and reminder emails. These providers process data on our behalf only where technically required to provide those services.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information where required by law or when necessary to protect the security, integrity, or legal rights of Git Skills, syntevo, or our users.
Retention and your choices
You can remove your stored quiz information yourself at any time from My Quizzes . Use Erase Everything to remove saved quiz and reminder data from your account and clear quiz data stored in the current browser.
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account functionality, meet legal obligations, and resolve security or operational issues.
